Need Recognition: With Radio Shack’s new “Do It Together” system, they allow the consumer to find their own needs and then they have the option to work with an employee to fulfill that need.

Evaluation of Alternatives: This new positioning of Radio Shack works with the buyer behavior in terms of the evaluation of Alternatives concept. With Radio Shacks new slogan and DIY stations, (Do it yourself) it offers something new to the table that other companies might not have. This will make the decision making of the consumer easier knowing that Radio Shack offers something other stores don’t.

Purchase: When deciding whether or not to purchase a product, consumers have a better chance of buying merchandise from Radio Shack because of the new techniques used by the stores to get them more engaged with their projects. One technique I mentioned earlier was the DIY. With DIY stations set around a store, it allows customers to work on their own projects with the help of employees (if needed)


Post Purchase Behavior: After purchasing a product or finishing a project hopefully the customer will have a low cognitive dissonance, since they themselves and a employee were directly involved with the product they bought or fixed.
